The Seattle Robotics Society, in association with Trinity College (Hartford CT), will be sponsoring a Fire Fighting Home Robot Contest. Trinity has been holding this contest for several years with great success. In an effort to get more people involved, Trinity has asked the Seattle Robotics Society to hold a regional contest for robot builders in the Northwest.
We are planning on holding this contest on March 21st, 1998 in the Seattle area. We are still working out the details and logistics, but are very excited to be able to participate in this international event. The top three robots from the Northwest Regional Fire Fighting Home Robot Contest will qualify for entry into the main Trinity College contest to be held April 19th, 1998.
